MODERNIZE THE OFFICE

I drove innovation and accountability at the Sheriff’s Office, but unfortunately was rebuked when I called for more robust changes. The current Sheriff was appointed to Office in 1989; and, he has only avoided modernizing the Office.

We must move our work into the 21st century by requiring modern technology, modern accountability and modern thinking. Law Enforcement is not the same as it was 33 years ago in 1989.

It is not acceptable that the lack of technology and modernization at the Sheriff’s Office causes waste and inefficient deployment of the deputies. As a result, the Sheriff’s Office is underperforming in areas where they can reduce crime.

Let’s replace a disorganized paper-based process with secure, efficient data driven platforms.
